It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madonna Monfort of Spencerville, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madonna Monfort to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Garfield and Luzerta Mae Agler Dicus; her husband Donald Webster Monfort; her daughter Barbara; her son-in-law Jerry James; her granddaughter Emily Hardesty Lehman; and her siblings, Nolan Dicus (Lorraine), Helen Bitters (Virgil), Everett Dicus (Vi), Paul Dicus, Clarence Dicus, Gerald Dicus (Frances) and Robert Dicus (Marcine).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Brown (Stanley) of Spencerville and Victoria Hardesty (Dennis) of Byrdstown, TN.; her grandchildren, Tricia James (Amy Bussard), Tammy Roberts (Kenny), Tana Layman (Chris), Eric Brown (Jenn), Neil Brown (Shelly), Heather Young (Neal) and Clint Hardesty; and her great grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin, Corinne, Maisie Maddy, Grant, Ethan, Faith, Zach, Peyton, Makenzie, Parker, Karleigh, Simon and Lillian.
With Covid-19 required face covering and social distancing, the family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
