It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea Plikerd (Spencerville, Ohio), born in Venedocia, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Owen and Emerald Sayers Pugh; her husband Wesley F. Plikerd; her daughters, Julie Stechschulte (Mark) and Janet Ruen; her brother Hugh Pugh (Evelyn); and her niece Nikki Abbott.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rachel Sipe (Bryan) and Laura Lyle (Josh); her niece Kathy McCollow (Bob); her nephews, Owen Pugh (Karen), Bob Pugh (Denise) and Eric Pugh (Jen); her sister-in-law Judy Abbott; and her son-in-law Doug Ruen. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Presbyterian Church in Venedocia.
