He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis H. Clement and Viola L. Clement (Schramm); his spouse Shirley K. Clement (Washburn); his brothers, Thomas Clement, Lavern Clement and Vince Clement; and his brother-in-law James Warnecke.

He is survived by: his children, Anissa Essinger (Kelly) of Bluffton, Andrea Mangette (Steve) of Delphos and Matthew Clement of Spencerville; his grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob Mangette, Abigail, Jillian and Caroline Essinger; and his siblings, Richard Clement (Beth) of Venedocia, Gene Clement of Cincinnati, Marilyn Meyer (Ron) of St. Marys, Rosie Moenter (Irvin) of Delphos and Patricia Warnecke of Spencerville.
