He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald A. Baker and Melinda Ruth Bowersock Baker; his daughter Tandy Laman; and his sisters, Bonnie Myers and Evelyn Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret L. "Peggy" Hirn; his son Don A. "Bud" Baker (Jodi); his son-in-law Terry Laman; his grandchildren, Amanda Pastoria of Myrtle Creek, OR., Jessica Horton (Gary) of Delphos, Tonya Baker of Cincinnati, Katie Laman of Spencerville and Cody Laman (Stephanie) of Catlettsburg, KY; his stepgrandchildren, Cassie Plaugher (Steven) of Lima, Leah Joseph of Lima and Brandon Joseph of Lima; and his brother Stanley Baker (Helen) of Rockford.
