He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maibach and Velma Jean Maibach (Garrison); his stepfather Ken Miller; his siblings, Danny, Robert Maibach (Bob), Kathy Iceman and Robin Maibach; his brothers-in-law, Phil Hahn, Ron Sims and Tracy Slater; his grandson Corey Stamitoles; and his close friends, Woody Hayes and Earle Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa (Guyer); his children, Stacey Stamitoles (Randy), Chad Maibach (Audrey) and Joseph Maibach; his grandsons, Tyler Stamitoles and Spencer Stamitoles; his great grandchildren, Gwen, Stevie Rae and Greysen; and his sisters, Patti Leohr, Virginia Hahn, Sally Brokken (Tom), Sue Schaad (Barry), Connie Sims, Marilyn Slater and Janie Burgan (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
