She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Kiser and Edith Kiser (Beam); her husband Willard Smith; her siblings, Rita Behnke, Donald Kiser and Thomas Kiser; her daughter Cynthia Sumpter; her granddaughter Michelle Chapman; and her great grandchildren, Rylee and Adeline Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry Smith (Cherie) of West Salem and Diane Hatch (Gary Lingruen) of Spencer; and her son-in-law Robert Sumpter. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
