She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Willie B. Battle and Viola Mastin; her husband Tommie Lee Jackson; and her brother Harry Battle Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Battle-Carter (James), Willie Battle Jr. (Peggy), Glenda Battle-Foster (Johnny), Cpt. Florida Battle, Chaplin USN of Chaplin, USN, Rev. Ernest Battle (Lavenia), Sylvia Battle-Young (Robert) and Joe Martin; and her children, Tommie Jackson Jr., Ernest J. Jackson (Samantha), Ereck Jackson (Cassandra), Marcus, Todd Smith, Desmond Kellom (Brenda), Willie Moncrief, Anthony, Ruby Campbell, Demetrius Jefferies, Jackquan, Samone, Donte Edwards, Dontez Edwards (Jeannie), Jesse Jackson, Chadley Pugh (Crystal), Latesha Witherspoon, Merrissa Shanahan (James) and Crystal Murray. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
