She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Burroughs and Nellie Ruth Moats Burroughs; her brothers, Col. Gerald Burroughs, Gary Burroughs and Ronald Burroughs; and her grandson Jesse L. Heck.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Lee Heck; her children, Belinda Jane Heck of Southington and Jerry L. Heck (Deborah) of Bristolville, OH; her siblings, James "Chuck" Burroughs (Maggie), Carole Miller (John) of New Middleton, OH, Janet Ruth Burroughs of Sutton, WV, Judy Burroughs and Valerie Randolph of Buckhannon, WV; her granddaughter Amber McRoberts; and her great grandchildren, Taylor and Angela L. McRoberts.
