It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nina Lucille Tietz of Southington, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Bailes Currence and Homer Currence; her husband Olaf Walter Tietz, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Genevieve and Olaf Tietz; and her siblings, Freda Frazer, Virgil Currence, Golda Haberstroh and Willie Currence.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Tietz (Janet) of Southington, Nina Marie Humes (Craig) of Southington, Daniel Tietz (Susan) of Southington and Martin Tietz (Wendy) of Southington. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Southington Community Trust, Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514, or a charity of choice.
