He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle M. Gardner Sr. and Dorothy B. Lyngstad (Gates); his daughter Jeanette Meredith; his sister Myrna Thompson; his granddaughter Lathea Parthemer; and his grandson-in-law Tony Nasonti.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Gardner of Southington, OH; his daughters, Denise Jaster (Dan) of Warren, OH and Vicky Clingerman (Phil) of Southington, OH; his son-in-law Bill Meredith; his grandchildren, Laura Siebenaller (Kenny), Chad D. Hill, Joshua Hill, Carrie Nasonti, Michael Lahey, III, Philip Clingerman, Jr., William Meredith, Jr. (Delyte), Robert Crawford, Kayleen Whaley (Jon), Benjamin Crawford and Tom Lukehart (Tina); and his grandson-in-law Dave Parthemer. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
