He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fiest and Jesse Fiest (Hites); and his siblings, Norman, Fred Fiest and Joyce.
He is survived by: his former wife Iona Gilligan; his wife Iona "Ony" Fiest of Southington, OH; his children, Lori Hall (Dale) of Tionesta, PA, David Fiest (Lynne) of Hubbard, OH, Daniel Fiest (Laura) of Lake Milton, OH, Brian Fiest (Lori) of Cortland, OH and Kellie Ruane (Sean) of Howland, OH.; and his siblings, Harold, William Fiest and Ruth. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
