He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cummins and Clara Jones; his stepfather Steve Jones; and his siblings, LeRoy Cummins, Duwayne Cummins, Jenny Agueda and Della Oliver.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne J Cooper Cummins; his children, Jeffery O Cummins (Mary), Claudia Wuelfing (Dave), Janet Tyler (Gustavo) and Peggy Novotny (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca Kittle, Raymond, Kensey Wuelfing, Brandon, Abigail, Jessica Wuelfing, Mikey, Pablo, Amber Tyler, Hunter, Alexandra Tyler, Noah Godsey, Naylia, Navian, Zakari and Cassandra Novotny.
