He is survived by: his children, John Simmering (Catherine) of Ironton and Glenda Simmering of South Webster; his siblings, Lehman Simmering of Oak Hill, Fred Simmering (Sally) of Rubyville, Minnie Adams of Wheelersburg and Linda Hoover (Gary) of South Webster; his grandchildren, Michael Simmering, Amy Colegrove, Jason Watson and Joshua Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Alicia, James, Max, Eva, Aaron and Ashley.
