She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Butler and Effie Butler (Meeks); her husband Kermit Smith; her granddaughter Candy Kelly; and her sisters, Emma Russell, Katherine Ducker, Irene Lockhart, Evelyn Fritze and Phyllis Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Monty L. Smith (Mary) of Wheelersburg, Glenda Shaffer of South Webster and Marilyn Libby (Dean) of Stout. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
