She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Brooks and Lois Madeline Filius Brooks; and her sister Stella Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Houston; her sons, Johnny Rayalty and Charles Rayalty; and her siblings, Burkey Brooks, Tommy Brooks, Grady Brooks and Mary Brooks. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
