It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy H. Charles of South Webster, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Greeny Charles and Carrie Blackburn Charles; his wife Brenda Charles; and his siblings, Ray, Paul, Tommie Charles, Betty Baker, Magaleen Charles and Eileen Storts.
He is survived by: his children, James Fisher (Tonya) of Lucasville, Michael Charles (Andrea) of South Webster, Johnathan Charles (Shelby) of Minford, Jacob Charles of Ashland, KY, Bill Whitaker (Allison), Cindy Sullivan (James) of Lucasville, Lisa Mollett (John) of New Boston, Angie Thompson (Dave) of McDermott, Jennifer Eliot (Paul) of New Boston, Stephanie Walsh (Ricky) of Chillicothe and Brooklyn Charles (Buddy Blizzard) of South Webster; and his siblings, Ronnie Charles of Minford, Johnny Charles (Linda) of South Webster, Fern Bokstael of Florida, Lucille Robinson of Wheelersburg, Bonnie Cornell (Eddie) of South Webster, Brenda Kinsall (Gregory) of Columbus and Nancy Gallagher (Diane McCormick) of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the D. W. Swick Funeral Home (10900 Main St, South Webster, OH 45682). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
