He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cook Sr. and Sue Cook (Elswick); and his son Lonnie Cook. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cook (Keller); his children, Jimmy Cook, Carl Cook, Ronnie Cook, Danny Cook (Tonaya), Theresa Risner (Wayne) and Denise Gregory (Doug); and his half-siblings, Ken, Doris and Patty. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
