He was predeceased by: his parent Beverly Hill Stiles; his wife Jami Stiles; and his brother Steve Cook. He is survived by: his father Richard Stiles; his son Chris Karasek; and his siblings, Gary Cook, Micah Stiles, Nikki Maloney, Andrea Krekeler and Rachael Vicars. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
