He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Wid" Tackett and Clara Edna Tackett (Fields); his daughter Rosanna Dell; his siblings, William "Bill" Tackett, Eva Fletcher, Lathona "Toni" Harwood, Elsie "Patricia" Vallance and Hazel Gambill; and his nephew Ronald Tackett.
He is survived by: his sister Janice Lee; his sons, Donald (Cathy), Robert Dean (Nancy), Vaughn (Jill) and Daniel; his close friend Margaret Fletcher; and his niece Judy Tackett. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, several other nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends.
