With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Parrett of South Vienna, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Parrett; his wife Ellen Parrett; his siblings, Frederick Parrett, Paul Parrett, Roderick Parrett, Glenn Parrett Jr., Pearl McElyea, Helen Zoellener, Annie LeMaster, James Parrett, Leon Parrett, Donald Parrett, John Parrett and Charles Parrett; and his friend Mike Heider.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Hobbs (Chip), Doug Parrett, Angie Horne (Vern) and Tonya Carter-Traudt (Ron); his sister Sarah Lemmon; his sister-in-law Cora Parrett; his grandchildren, Jeremy Lipscomb, Amber Willis (Jason), Jami Rothery (Dana), Ashle Parrett, Tyler Parrett, John Horne (Lindsey), Darien Carter and Amen Traudt; the mother of his children Bonnie Hawks; and his friends, Ken DeLeat and Janet Heider. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
