With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Thornton of South Salem, Ohio, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2021 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. Jenkins and Marilyn S. Jenkins (Toohey); her stepfather James Hafner; her sisters, Carol L. Jenkins and Janet Jenkins; and her son-in-law Patrick Gray.
She is survived by: her husband Dana William Thornton, Sr.; her children, Catherine Gray, Danielle Cottrill (Jeramie) and Dana W. Thornton, Jr. (Christen); her grandchildren, Ashleigh Campagne, Braydon Thornton, Colin Campagne, Patrick Thornton, Madalyn Thornton, Destiny Butterbaugh, Erika Gray and Jamie Lynn Gray; and her siblings, Judy Althouse (Terry), Frances Detty, Rebecca Jenkins, Ronald Jenkins (Rose) and Clarence Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to the family to assist with expenses.
