He is survived by: his parents, Dick Barker of Chapmanville, WV and Katherine Pettry of South Point, Ohio; his sons, Steve Barker Jr. of Huntington, WV, Louden Barker of Huntington and Casey Barker of South Point; the mother of his children Carolyn Barker; his siblings, Sissy Debbie Burns of Huntington, Charli Hollon of Kentucky and J. D. Barker of South Point, Ohio; and his close friends, Cheryl "Cricket" Kawlski and Ringo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
