He is survived by: his wife Wilma Braden; his children, Bruce Maynard, Vicki Dixon (Matt) and Todd Thacker; his grandchildren, Summer Thacker, Jonathan Thacker, Tasha England, Ronald Dean, Denise Crawford, Dallas Thacker, Justin Maynard, Seth Maynard, Jodi McKinley, Jessica Cerlan, Anthony Cerlan, Ricky Carter, Chad Carter and Brad Cain; his great grandchildren, Destyni Thacker, Kameron Maynard, Ethan McKinley, Rilynn Cerlan and Kinsley McKinley; his siblings, Dottie Harrington of Florida, Dana Barnes (James) of Florida and Lewis Braden (Georgia) of Kentucky; and his close friend Paul Mann. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
