He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Stubbs; his former wife Venita Stubbs; his son Johnny Stubbs; his brother Charles Stubbs; and his grandson Christopher Stubbs.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Jackson Stubbs; his sons, Phillip Stubbs (Beth) and Jody Stubbs (Nicole); his stepdaughters, Theresa Boggs and Leslie Adams (Mike); and his siblings, Joan Vaughn, John Stubbs, Richard Stubbs, Mark Stubbs and Bruce Stubbs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great- grandson.
