He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Deskin and Hazel Wooten Deskin; and his sister Anne Wurts. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Clark Deskin; his sons, William and Kenneth Hastings; his siblings, Joe Deskin (Betty), Laura Kitchen, Alice Risk and Pat Gibbs; and his close friend Elmer Hastings. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
