She was predeceased by: her parents, Tim Maynard and Marjory Taylor Maynard; her husband George C. Blake; her siblings, Randale Maynard, Daniel Maynard, Emma Thompson Upchurch and Annie McClure; and her close friends, John Roberts and Herman Mays, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Gordon (Russell); her granddaughter Chrisha Spears; her great grandchild Braden Spears; her siblings, Connie Jones (Ronald) and Alvis Maynard (Clydene); her aunt Dot Taylor Osborn; and her close friends, Ida Bowen, Susie McGuire and Lauren Gullett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
