He is survived by: his wife Patricia McClure Nelson; his son Jerry Dean Nelson of South Point; his siblings, Dorothy Taylor (Kermit) of Proctorville, OH, Marilyn Cooper of Racine, OH and Jack Nelson (Cheryl) of Proctorville; and his grandson Ryan Anthony Nelson.
