She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Meritt and Delcie Hale Meritt; and her siblings, Goldie Lee, Ethel Adkins, Howard Merritt and Arval Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Wilks (Phillip) and Nicholas Ditello (Brittany); her former husband Daniel Ditello; her grandchildren, Kayla Rakes, Alex Wilks and Alyssa Sparks; her great grandchildren, Kinsley Elizabeth and Adelyn Sue Rakes; and her siblings, Margaret Brinegar, Nola Riggs, Joyce Anderson and Arthur Merritt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in her memory.
