She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Vance and Nancy Lewis Vance; her daughter Teresia Williamson; and her brother Glen Vance. She is survived by: her husband Jennings Nelson; her children, Jennifer Nelson of Chesapeake, OH, Aimee Lawson (Bobby) of Roxboro and Jennings "Ray" Nelson, Jr. of Lolita, TX; and her brothers, Johnny Vance (Jean) of Lumberton, NC, Kenny Vance (JoAnn) of South Point, OH and Jimmy Vance (Barbara) of Paris, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
