She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Jeffers and Effie Dean Jeffers; her husband Charles Clay; and her siblings, Golden Jeffers, Perlie Jeffers, Grady Jeffers, Andrew Jackson Jeffers, Goldie Gonzales, Betty Worley and Golza "Buck" Jeffers.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Lee Clay of Palm Bay, FL, Anthony Ray Clay of Huntington, Randy Dale Clay of South Point and Terry Allen Clay of Proctorville; and her brother Doc Jeffers of Bluefield. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
