It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Evertt Turley Jr. of South Point, Ohio, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Evertt Turley, Sr. and Ellinore Hailey Turley; his sons, Dennis Turley, Darrell Turley, Michael Turley and Roger Turley; and his former wife Elizabeth Cochrane Turley.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Dillon Turley; his daughter-in-law Terri Turley; his brother Bill Turley; and his grandchildren, Derek, Jamie, Johna, Janna, Roger, Jr., Timothy, Amber, Crystal and Katie. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local Hospice Organization or First Baptist Church, South Point, OH.
