He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie McSweeney and Mary Adkins McSweeney; and his siblings, Wesley, Larry, Edward McSweeney, Marie Thompson, Minnie Dean, Violet Marshall, Jannie McClellan and Ethal "Cutie" Brammer.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Harper McSweeney; his children, Angie Copley (David) of Lavalette, WV and Matt McSweeney of Burlington, OH; his grandchildren, Joshua Webb of South Point, OH, Daulton Webb (Miranda) of Huntington, WV and Hunter Copley (Amber) of Catlettsburg, KY; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Stone Webb, McKenna Grey Webb, Penny Copley and Huck Copley; and his close friends, Bob Lester and Kirby Milem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tri-State Baptist Academy in Jim's honor.
