He is survived by: his wife Irene France Clay; his children, Matt Clay (LaDena) of Flatwoods, KY, Michael Clay (Aimee) of South Point, Jeremy Clay (Amanda) of South Point, Traci Ball (Don) of Greenup, KY, Shari Arbogast (Russ) of South Point, Sheila Walter (Scott) of South Point and Samantha Long (David) of Grayson, KY; and his sister Jacque Tyler (Jerry) of South Point. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
