She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Morton Hatley and James; her husband Joseph Mitchell Thompson; and her daughter Candi Acosta. She is survived by: her sister Cornail Rummage (Ralph) of Lexington; her children, Wendy Bostian (George) of Salisbury and Jeff Thompson (April) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Russell Lynch (Samantha) of Huntington, Zack Thompson of Wilmington, Cory Hanes of Asheville, NC, Casee Condrey (Daniel) of Lexington and Anna Thompson (Brandon) of Mocksville; and also Hatley. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
