He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Bowles and Martha Gillette; his siblings, Bill Bowles and Shelly Yates; and his grandson Devin Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte L. Clonch Bowles; his children, Davina Bunch (Justin), David Richard Bowles, Jr. (Dreama), James Bowles (J. P.) and Rick Bowles (Star); his sisters, Rita Bowles, Patricia Bowles and Lynn Gillette; his grandchildren, Michayla Bowles, Dakota Bunch, Jayda Bunch, Madeline Bowles, Gwendaline Bowles, Charles Bowles, Gabriel Bowles, Jewel Bowles, Jasmine Bowles, Calie Bryant, Max Kuhn, Odin Kuhn and Shawn Bowles; and his mother-in-law Caroline Clonch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
