He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Gibson and Murley Smith Gibson; his wife Bobbie Rice Gibson; his son Tom Gibson; and his sister Eloise Sherman.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Orta (Carlos Fugett) of South Point, OH, Tony Gibson (Teresa) and Terry Gibson of South Point, OH; his daughter-in-law Koko Gibson; and his sisters, Edith Powell of Flatwoods, KY and Mary Littmann of South Point, OH. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren;18 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Slack and Wallace Funeral Home to help with expenses.
