Amaryllis Ann Rye Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amaryllis Ann Rye of South Point, Ohio, born in Lavalette, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Dennis and Lyndell Richey Potter; her husband Hobert Rye; and her siblings, Junior Potter, Jack Potter, Jim Potter, Arbutus Parsons and Iris Lambert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Kirby (Dale) and Sandra Smith (Eric "Scoot"); her brother Bill Potter; her grandchildren, Christy Harshberger, Brad Kirby, Zachary and Benji Smith; her great grandchildren, Avery, Cayden Harshberger, Braelene, Colton Kirby, Ayla and Myles Smith; and her close friends, Libby Austin, Susie Burk and Pat Willis.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Point First Church of the Nazarene.
