It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Mitchell Halcomb of South Lebanon, Ohio, born in Cumberland, Kentucky, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Halcomb and Martha Halcomb; his son Michael Angelo Halcomb; and his siblings, Clyde, Walter, Arnold Halcomb, Zell Simmons, Alma Richardson, Helen Richardson, Thelma Tilley and Callie Sparks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Halcomb Martin (Larry), Gwen Houston (Jim), Doris Shepherd (Robert) and Thelma Shepherd (Jasper); his brother Samuel Halcomb; his grandchildren, Bobby Shepherd (Jenny), Erica Nichols (Brice), Brandon Houston (Cheryl), Joey Shepherd, Nick Shepherd and Ryan Houston (Dannie); his great grandchildren, Keisha, Delaney, Ahli, Logan, Ellie and Finn; and his great great grandchild Keller. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
