With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nona M. Stella (South Euclid, Ohio), born in Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Duck" Beemer and Helen Beemer; and her pets, Muggsy, Sox and Sunny.

She is survived by: her husband Phil; her sons, Peter (Rossana) and Andrew (Laura); her grandchildren, Gabriella, Luciano, Zola and Frances; and her siblings-in-law, Michael and Mary Jane Stella.

“In loving memory of Nona M. Stella, Duck and Helen were BBFs with my parents which kind of made Nona and me kind of like siblings. We played together and traveled together as little kids, and I can’t remember ever fighting or arguing. As an only child myself, I always thought of Nona as my little sister who I needed to take care of and protect. I regret that I never got to know her as we grew older. Please remember only those good times you had together. I’m so sorry that she is gone.”
