He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son James Swanson; and his parents, Louis Ruggiero and Mary Ruggiero. He is survived by: his children, Debra Shisila (Mark) and Michael Swanson (Wendy); his grandchildren, Ashley Bales (Andrew), Dawn Swanson and Jazmin Foster (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Braxton, James, Journee and Ean.
