We bid farewell to Sharon Diane Mapes of South Charleston, Ohio, born in Fairborn, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Sharon Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Auld and Dorothy Auld; her husband Voris Mapes; and her daughter Elizabeth Cook. She is survived by: her close friend Richard Ryman; her children, Amy Howard (Dan) and Fred McDaniel (Becky); her grandchildren, Sarah Smith (Cook), Alex Cook, Mitchell, Cole, Kyle Howard, Tyler and Kayla McDaniel; her brother John Auld (Jean); and her uncle Richard Roberts (Helen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
