We bid farewell to Lois Ann Artis of South Charleston, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Lois Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lois Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul G. Peters and Romain M. Peters (Tolbert); her husband David Artis; her son Paul D. Artis; and her sister Martha Crowl.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Perry (Walter); her daughter-in-law Kim Artis; and her sister Marjorie Light (Buster). She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ingling Williams & Lewis Funeral Home (24 N Chillicothe St, South Charleston, OH 45368). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the South Charleston United Methodist Church (15 E Jamestown St, South Charleston, OH 45368).
