She was predeceased by: her parents, James McGowan and Luella Kennedy (Hoops); and her husband Jan Demuth. She is survived by: her children, Susan Evans (Steve), Karen Klumpp (Joe), Melissa Gilley (Brian), Jeremy Demuth, Erin Kelly (Ricard), Tim Lannert and Joe Lannert; and her sisters, Pat Buckwalter (Ken) and Colleen Webb (Tom). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
