With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Wallace Smith of South Charleston, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Smith and Edna Smith (Frock). He is survived by: his wife Becky Smith (Ziesmer); his children, Chad Smith (Mitzi), John Smith (Erin) and Jen Bartell (Tim); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah, Samantha, Aiden, Logan and Avery; his sister Dawn Miller (Neil); his sisters-in-law, Sandra Newman and Kathie Ziesmer; and his cousin Rick Lohnes.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420-1890.
