He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Roop; his children, Patricia Franks, Ava Cowan, Darius S. Demaree Jr and Donald R. Demaree; his stepchildren, Violet Roberts, Barb Legg, Bonnie White, Winnie and Banyon; and his siblings, Edward Demaree, Marian and Dotty. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
