He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie W. Cole and Mildred S. Waldron Cole; his brothers, Louie "Woody" Cole, Artie Cole, Gary Cole and Keith Cole; and his nephew Gary Dennis Cole.
He is survived by: his sister Mona Copening; his significant other Rosa Cole; his daughter Reba Cummings (Dale); and his grandson Brandon McCallister.
