It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Atlee Simmons of South Charleston, Ohio, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Greene Simmons and Ollie Simmons; his wife Betty Johnson Simmons; and his children, Robin Pyles (Ralph) of South Solon, Steve Simmons (Melissa) of Jamestown, Milt Simmons (Joan) of Hillsboro, Bruce Simmons of South Solon and John Simmons (Heather) of South Charleston. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as multiple children who referred to him as "grandpa".
