He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wharton and Margaret Wharton (Hickman) of Millsboro, Delaware.; and his brother Ronnie Wharton. He is survived by: his significant other Jennie Wharton (Scott); his daughters, Janice Oliver (Michael) of Wheelock, Elaine Tingle (Mike) of Laurel, Cindy Alderman (Lynn) of Circleville and Trenny Wharton of Kingston, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Lyndi Ross (Ryan), Shawn Tingle, Trent Alderman and Jenna Conaway (Greg); his stepgranddaughters, Victoria Emery (Jake) and Kathryn Oliver; his siblings, Jimmy Wharton (Sallie) and Judy Baker (Chip); his sister-in-law Saralee Wharton; and his close friend Terry Crumley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
