He is survived by: his sister Maxine Van Curen; his children, Joseph (Rita), Rebecca Shaw and Leann Johnson; his grandchildren, Craig Knece (Ashley), Marti Knight (Jesse), Joseph Knece (Tasha) and Zachary Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Vicky Coccia (Jan), Diana Hedges, Tonya Johnson, Starla Delong (Jeff), Shirley Arbaugh, Dan Watters (Jeanne), Damon Notestone (Lisa), Gregory Van Curen, William Van Curen, Robert Johnson and Richard Smith; and his close friends, Dick Celeste, Ted Strickland of Ohio and Gene Branstool of Ohio. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
