He was predeceased by : his parents, Wayne D. Mobley and Sylvia L. Mobley (Pittman); his former life partner Nicky R. (Martin); his siblings, Holley, Robert and Christina Hastings; and his niece Angela Britton.

He is survived by : his wife DeJon R. Mobley (Hart); his daughter Robin R. Mobley (Joel Brown) of Newark; and his brother Harold Mobley of Beallsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
